Home visits play an essential part in addressing chronic absenteeism and improving school culture and climate. Our educators know this, which is why they are willing to take on such demanding work.

Over the summer, we had videographers follow our educators working in cities throughout the country. They captured our home visitation specialists walking from home to home and apartment building to apartment building — in the rain and sunshine.

Dr. David Heiber, the founder and CEO of Concentric, also sat down for an interview to discuss how the organization’s mission has evolved since receiving its startup grant from NewSchools Venture Fund in 2010.
