Concentric Educational Solutions is excited to launch its partnership with Michigan’s Redford Union school district. CES will work with the school to implement its home visit framework, a multi-tiered program designed to address chronic absenteeism among students and increase community engagement.

The new engagement represents the third Michigan district partnership for CES.

“We are proud to expand our footprint in Michigan and look forward to making a difference in the lives of Redford’s students and community,” said David Heiber, the founder and executive director of CES. “Our Home Visit Framework has proven successful in Michigan and in schools all over the country.”

According to Redford Union Schools, 38 percent of students in the district are chronically absent.

CES’s Home Visit Framework build’s capacity in school staff by using home visits as an instrument to enhance student achievement and growth. It has launched home visit programs in schools throughout the United States including New Jersey, Washington D.C. and Maryland.

CES was founded in 2010 with a grant from the NewSchools Venture Fund. Since then, the organization has conducted more than 50,000 home visits in 15 states, impacting more than 100,000 students.
